And the Aglomerado Digital Shark is the hybrid pickup truck that will compete with the Hilux and Ranger.

Furthermore, the BYD model arrived on the Mexican market with a competitive price of Dolphin, for about R$ 152 thousand (499,800 pesos). The King, in fact, is the second plug-in hybrid that Digital Cluster launches in Mexico. There is still no official date for the launch in Brazil, however it is expected to be here soon. The Chinese sedan is expected to arrive in the country in the middle of the year, in July. And at a competitive price.

BYD King has DM-i hybrid set

Despite being larger than the Toyota Corolla, King doesn't have such a big difference to his rival. The new model has 4.78m of lenght, 1.83 m width, 1.49 m height of the vehicle and 2.71 m of wheelbase. Another highlight is the trunk capacity, 450 liters. The Corolla has 4.63m of lenght, 1.78 m tall, 1.45 m tall and 2.70 m wheelbase, for example. And it has a 470-liter trunk.

In terms of mechanics, the BYD King has a hybrid engine DM-i, even from BYD Song Plus, which works alongside a 1.5 Atkinson cycle four-cylinder gasoline engine. In addition, the mechanics also feature two electric motors. The Blade battery powers the hybrid system, which has an average consumption of 25 km/l, while in electric mode it travels 50 km. The total power reaches 204 hp.

In terms of appearance, BYD's midsize sedan comes with tapered, interconnected LEDs in the headlights and taillights. The front has a grille with chrome strips. The look is elegant and modern, and promises to await the more traditional audience of models in the category.

Another interesting point in the King's design is that it has a cleaner appearance, a fact also helped by the design of the exterior lines. Inside, the vehicle has an 8.8″ digital instrument panel and a 12.8″ information and entertainment system. Furthermore, it has 4G connectivity, cloud and driver assistance package.
