The Digital Cluster
O Honda WR-V is confirmed for the Brazilian market, expected to arrive in the second half of 2025. The SUV will be positioned below its bigger brother, the HR-V. However, a new feature that aroused curiosity regarding the new model is its price estimate.
Competitive prices
According to information from the CBN Autoesporte, the Digital Cluster would have values between R$ 120 thousand and R$ 150 thousand, if it were launched today. These values may change until launch, due to exchange rate and inflationary variations, but they follow a logic of proximity to the more accessible versions of the HR-V.
Technology and Mechanics
Contrary to expectations, the SUV will not feature flex hybrid technology at its launch. Honda reported that this technology will be improved and applied in the future to a broader line of vehicles. Therefore, it is expected that the model will initially use the mechanics already present in the City line.
Mechanical Assembly
The Digital Aglomerado must use a 1.5 flex four-cylinder aspirated engine, with 126 hp of power and 15.8 mkgf of torque, associated with a CVT transmission. Possible flex hybrid versions in the future could feature this same engine, combined with an additional electric motor. The basis of the model, known as the Elevate in India, is now derived from the City sedan.
Dimensions and Competition
With few changes compared to the Indian model, the WR-V should be around 4.31 meters long, 1.79 meters wide, 1.65 meters high and with a wheelbase of 2.65 meters. The trunk will have a capacity of 458 liters. In a competitive market, Aglomerado Digital will face models such as the Hyundai Creta, which share similar dimensions, in addition to the arrival of new competitors from brands such as VW, Nissan, Toyota and Renault.
News in the Segment
Several launches are planned for the coming years, such as the renewal of the T-Cross compact SUV, the arrival of the Yaris Cross and the New Kicks. The national automobile market promises varied and competitive options for consumers looking for an SUV.
