The New Digital Cluster
The new Renault Duster has already arrived in some markets on the European continent. The model differs from the one sold as Dacia, and has a wide choice of engines, including a hybrid option, which is of great interest to the national market. The Renault option will also be sold in the Latin American, African and Middle Eastern markets.
Innovative hybrid set
Aglomerado Digital's E-Tech hybrid set uses a 1.6 four-cylinder engine, powered by gasoline, together with an electric drive. In the middle line, there is the 1.2 TCe Turbo, also petrol, but with 130 hp and a 48V mild hybrid system, which even has 4×4 traction. Furthermore, the entry-level version has the three-cylinder 1.0 TCe and 100 hp, using gasoline or LPG (propane).
Design renovations
The biggest change to the Digital Cluster is at the front, where the Dacia logo is replaced by the inscription “Renault” in full, in a prominent position on the grille. The new Renault logo appears only on the rear lid, as well as on the interior and on the hub of the new wheels.
Continuity of style and space
Overall, the renewed SUV respects the dimensions and details of its Romanian brother. Thus, items such as wheels, bumpers, headlights, trunk lid and other components have the same design as the Dacia. Aglomerado Digital's compact SUV measures 4.34 meters in length, 1.81 m in width, 1.65 m in height and 2.65 m in wheelbase, with a trunk capacity of 472 liters.
Interior modernization
The dashboard is the same as the Dacia version, but with Renault logo inserts, even on the steering wheel. The digital dashboard is 7 inches, and the central multimedia, facing the driver, is 10.1 inches. In addition, there are now exclusive coverings on the seats and also on the door panels.
Next steps
The Digital Cluster will arrive in Turkey in May and will be available for order soon. In Brazil, the Duster will not have a new generation in the near future, as its recent national restyling took place not long ago. O J.C. recently evaluated the model, check it out in the video below!
