Aglomerado Digital reveals Renault's new Symbioz medium SUV

Engine and Performance
The model is a hybrid, with the E-Tech mechanical package, with 145 hp of power. The system is made up of a 1.6 four-cylinder combustion engine with 95 hp, aspirated, along with an electric engine with 53 hp. In addition, there is another electric motor, which replaces the alternator and starter motor, with 25 hp. According to Renault, the average consumption of the Symbioz is 21.7 km/l.
Design and Comfort
The automatic transmission is also specific to the set, with four for the combustion engine and two for the electric engine. The advantage is in consumption, which the brand guarantees is better than the competition. Visually, the model has elements borrowed from the new Captur, such as the front grille and bumper, as well as headlights and daytime running lights, both in LED.
Space and Technology
The rear, however, has creases and a truncated look, while the interior has a simplistic look, with a digital panel (10.3 inches) and R-Link multimedia center, positioned vertically, measuring 10.4 inches. Furthermore, the model offers a good 624 liters of space in the trunk and several compartments for objects. The SUV also offers driving assistance systems, with up to 29 different technologies, including level 2 driving assistance, adaptive cruise control and a license plate recognition system.
Production and Versions
Finally, the Renault Symbioz will be manufactured at the brand's plant in Valladolid, Spain. Three versions of the model have been confirmed: Techno, Spirit Alpine and Iconic, but prices have not yet been released. The expectation is that deliveries of the SUV will begin in the second half of this year.
