Aglomerado Digital presents the new Tesla Model 3 Performance 2024
A Tesla revealed the Model 3 Performance in an updated and more powerful version than ever. In this year 2024, the model received visual touches and significant improvements in its performance. To the deliveries are scheduled to begin between May and June.
Performance
O Model offers an impressive 510 hp of power, an increase of 55 hp compared to the previous version. Furthermore, peak torque increased by approximately 16%, reaching 78 mkgf. With high-performance engines on both axles, the vehicle has all-wheel drive and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, compared to the previous 3.1 seconds. Its maximum speed is 262 km/h.
Regarding battery capacity, the Tesla chose not to disclose precise numbers, but it is speculated to be similar to the 82 kWh pack of the 2017 Model 3 Performance. With this estimate, Tesla guarantees a range of 476 km in the WLTP cycle. Furthermore, the brand claims a 5% reduction in drag coefficient.
Mechanics
The vehicle's mechanics received improvements, including a reinforced chassis, adaptive shock absorbers, new tire configuration and 20″ wheels. The software has been updated, stability control has been strengthened and there has been better heat management. New shock absorbers, as well as an exclusive rear diffuser, are also part of the new features.
On the outside, the highlight is the new front and rear bumpers. Inside, the Model 3 maintains its conventional configuration, with a 15.4″ central screen and an 8″ screen for rear passengers. However, the elements now have a carbon fiber finish and new sports seats, which include ventilation and heating. Prices start at US$ 54,630 (about R$ 280 thousand in direct conversion).
