BMW 320i leads sales of luxury cars
O BMW 320i was the best-selling model in Brazil on the list that only covers luxury cars in the month of April. And the brand bavarian won a double. After all, the sedan, which achieved 410 registrations in the period, is followed by its brother X1. The SUV, therefore, had 319 registrations, according to figures released by Fenabrave, the country's dealers association. At the base of the podium, the Audi Q3 appears with 215 sales.
Porsche 911 highlight in sales
The only sports car in this top ten, O Porsche 911, appears with 205 license plates. It is worth remembering that, as reported by the Car Newspaper, O coupe even surpassed options from the brand itself, like the sports Boxster and Panamera, for example. This is because its cheapest version (Carrera) costs no less than R$ 835 thousand, according to the site of the automaker.
Other highlights on the list
Other sports, such as BMW M2 It is Ford Mustang - which received new generation recently - they didn't even tickle the traditional German manufacturer's model. Respectively, competitors sold 32 units and 4 units throughout the month of April.
O Volvo XC60 occupies fifth place on the list. In total, 204 units were sold. Then comes the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The sedan is, initially, in sixth place, with 133 registrations in the period. Finally, the JLR Discovery comes “on the heels” of the German sedan, with 131 sales. It is worth remembering that Land Rover ceased to exist and, therefore, Discovery became a brand below the JLR (Jaguar Land Rover).
Audi Q5 It is Porsche Macan: curious tie
Next, a curious fact. Draw between Audi Q5 It is Porsche Macan. As the SUVs could not be placed together in a single station, the tie was broken based on the number of sales in the year to date. Thus, victory for the member of the four rings brand, which sold 108 more units from January to April. Respectively, 547 against 439 for the Cayenne's smaller brother.
