The new Chevrolet S10 2025 in Brazil

General Motors is about to start sales of the new 2025 Chevrolet S10 in Brazil and has not yet revealed many details about the range of versions, equipment or even the engine. At least one thing we've already discovered: it will still have a single cab version, being one of the few trucks in the category to have this option, besides the Toyota Hilux.

Single cabin version seen in São Bernardo do Campo

The single-cab variant of the 2025 Chevrolet S10 was seen in São Bernardo do Campo (SP), as shown in the image published by the Placa Verde profile on Instagram. The truck had the same camouflage as in the last shots, with colorful stickers on the body, each with a phrase about the vehicle said by one of the customers.

Single cabin version details

In addition to the obvious difference in the number of cabins, it is possible to see other details such as smaller steel wheels and headlights with halogen lamps. Obviously, as it is geared towards work, it will likely lose much of its equipment, possibly leaving out items such as the digital instrument panel, native WiFi connection and others. If we consider the current pickup, it will have six airbags, electrically adjustable side mirrors, multimedia center, electric windows and locks, tire pressure alert and more.

Mechanical part and efficiency improvements

The mechanical part is almost the same, using the 2.8 turbodiesel engine. GM said that the pickup will bring “a new generation” of the engine, which should improve its efficiency. One of the rumors points to an 8-speed automatic transmission in place of the current 6-position gearbox. It is not yet known whether it will be sold only as a single cab or whether it will remain a cab-chassis variant.

Prices and pre-sales

The Chevrolet S10 Single Cab currently retails from R$ 232,710. GM sometimes surprises and announces restylings without increasing prices, but this price has been applied by the manufacturer since January, so there is a chance that the restyling version will be more expensive. We will know more details next Friday (5), when the manufacturer will start pre-sales.
