Cadillac Escalade EXT Revival appears in electric CGI version to bring back the luxury sports pickup

Launched alongside its Chevrolet Avalanche sibling, the Cadillac Escalade EXT was given the green light by General Motors for the 2002 model year as the direct and measured answer to the Lincoln Blackwood sport utility truck.

These luxury trucks were effectively carving out a new niche in the full-size truck sector, but they were perhaps ahead of their time, especially the failing Blackwood, which was soon replaced by the Lincoln Mark LT.

These days, though, models like the $ 75k+ 2023 Toyota Tundra Capstone i-Force Max or the just-released GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate are again testing this segment's territory.

As such, wouldn't it be logical for Cadillac, which bets heavily on the mega-successful fifth-generation Escalade and Escalade ESV, to also try diving into the luxury SUT game, once again? Well, it sure is, at least from a digital standpoint.

The rendering of the Cadillac Escalade EXT

The rendering comes courtesy of AutoYa info YouTube channel, who imagined the CGI look of the all-new 2024 Cadillac Escalade EXT EV.

Even better, the hypothesis posits the return to glory of the battery-powered Cadillac Escalade EXT SUV as a way to rival the Ford F-150 Lightning, Rivian R1T, GMC Hummer EV, 2024 Chevy Silverado EV and GMC Sierra sibling EV, as well as the upcoming Ram Revolution BEV.

The informal model presentation continues with the CGI color palette before stepping back in time a bit and reminding channel fans of the previous virtual version of the SUT.
