Ammeter, Voltmeter and Charge Percentage
The battery charger has an ammeter that indicates the amount of charge (in amp hours) being sent to the battery in real time. The voltmeter measures battery voltage in real time and can display up to 0.5V more due to battery output and resistance. Furthermore, the display shows the amount of charge already absorbed by the battery since the beginning of the process, and the percentage of charge that varies from 20% to 100%.
Consumption and Efficiency
This new version of the battery charger has an efficiency of 95%, consuming only 37W maximum from the mains. This means that the charger can be left plugged in all night without consuming much energy.
Automatic Bi-Volt and Digital Technology
The charger is automatic bivolt, working on both 110V and 220V networks. Furthermore, it uses digital technology and is microprocessed, eliminating the need for a transformer and reducing fluctuating consumption to almost zero.
Dynamic Float
The battery charger has a dynamic float function, which stops sending charge automatically when the battery reaches 100% of charge (only with batteries in good condition). This keeps the voltage stable at 14.4V (+-10%), keeping the battery ready for immediate use.
