The beginning of a journey

A quarter of a century ago, on May 1, 1999, this column was published for the first time in 11 newspapers. Since then, there hasn't been a single week that we've failed to share our thoughts and opinions with readers. What started as a simple column has turned into an editorial phenomenon, with 72 websites and blogs broadcasting our content, in addition to 8 printed publications that continue to give us space.
