De Tomaso Automobili has announced the P900, its new hypercar designed exclusively for the track.
The P900 will be produced in just 18 copies, and each one will cost 3 million dollars.

The hypercar looks like an evolution of the P72 road model and comes with a carbon neutral, naturally aspirated V12 engine developing 888 hp or a V10 engine for those who want a faster delivery.
The V10 will likely be weaker than the V12 engine as it delivered around 750hp in the Benetton car, however it is expected to sound fantastic.
The model features an aerodynamic body kit making it more massive and spectacular, the rear wing is adjustable as per the model of the DRS system in Formula 1 cars, but the main difference from the base car is hidden behind the seats.
When it comes to exterior design, the P900 continues the successful recipe of the 2019 P72, inspired by the 1965 De Tomaso P70 race car.
The chassis and bodywork are made from carbon fiber, with some parts taken from the road model, including the lights and glass roof.
However, most of the bodywork is new and contains even more extreme detailing and aerodynamic components.
The front splitter has larger fins, the hood comes with a larger intake and the front fenders are more prominent and have integrated gills.
The round LED taillights are turbine-shaped and are combined with a set of round tailpipes with a gold finish positioned above the large diffuser.
The De Tomaso P900 will debut during the summer of 2023, when more information about the specifications will be known, and it is possible that the company will still offer more units of the model.
The manufacturer also stated that the 18 lucky owners of the model will have support in preparing their cars to run on the track.
