The Ford Focus ST is probably one of the compact cars with the best value for money and performance among models in its category.
now the Ford reinforces its commercial appeal by offering the new Track package, developed by Ford Performance and specially tuned to none other than the Nürburgring.
Ford offers this new Track package in combination with the Focus ST with five-door bodywork and manual transmission.
A package of equipment that does not affect the power of the 2.3 Ecoboost 2.3 gasoline engine, which still has 280 hp, nor the performance, with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h that remains in 5.7 seconds.
New track pack boosts Focus ST
Key to the Track package is its new KW Automotive-signed suspension, featuring dual-mode dampers with 12-step rebound and 16-step rebound adjustment, plus new, firmer 50% springs that lower suspension height. bodywork by an additional 10mm over the original Focus ST.
As a second element of the sports kit, the 19-inch wheels stand out, 10% lighter than the standard ones, thanks to a special manufacturing process.
As part of the package, the rims are fitted with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.
Another element that stands out when it comes to circuit driving is the brakes. In this case, front discs with a larger diameter 10% are mounted, surrounded by four-piston Brembo calipers.
Aesthetically, the Focus ST with the Track package stands out, in addition to the wheels and the low body height, by the gloss black finish for the rear spoiler, the diffuser and the wings of the front bumper.
The grille, mirror housings and the alloy wheels themselves also have a gloss black finish, behind which red-painted brake calipers contrast.
