How a stray dog became the “employee of the month” at a car dealership

Persistence is everything when it comes to finding a new job, and no one knows that better than a little dog named Tucson.

Tucson could often be found hanging around a Hyundai dealership, waiting for a chance to prove that he could become a great worker…

until he finally got a chance.

One rainy morning, the dealership manager, Emerson Mariano, noticed the lost puppy sitting in front of the door and decided to welcome him and name him Tucson Prime.

Tucson became so popular with customers that Mr. Mariano hired him as an official employee –

he also got his own ID card.

“The company has always been pet-friendly, so now we’ve decided to embrace this idea in practice as well, having our own pet right at a more complicated time like this with so many abandoned animals.”

It didn't take long for Tucson to reach the rank of Employee of the Month.

In an interview with Top Motors Brazil , Mariano shared that many customers would come back to the store after buying a car only to see Tucson again and shower it with gifts.

Today, Tucson can be found on the company's website under the working title “Pawfessional Consultant”.
