From November 20th to December 18th, football fans will have their eyes on Qatar, where the world's best teams will compete for the 2022 World Cup.
As for the official cars that the International Football Federation (FIFA) will use for transport during the World Cup, the Hyundai announced that it will provide 446 of its vehicles to transport organization officials, official guests and players.
Of these, at least half of the vehicles made available by the automaker will be purely electric, promoting electrification and reducing the overall energy footprint of the main sporting event of the year.

As announced, the Kona, Tucson and Sonata hybrids will be available, as well as the all-electric Ioniq 5, Genesis G80 and GV70, in addition to the 10 Elec City, its all-electric bus.
For this, the South Korean manufacturer was willing to install 150 chargers in the facilities where the 2022 World Cup will be held, to supply energy to vehicle batteries.

It is expected that by the end of October, Hyundai will begin training drivers who will use the vehicles both on how to safely transport their passengers and on the vehicle loading process.
