Lewis Hamilton Breaks the Internet Driving a Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R and Controversy Rises-Watch the Video!

The Formula 1 season is over, now drivers need to get their adrenaline elsewhere.

For Lewis Hamilton, that meant driving through the streets of Japan and he reveled in it, much to the delight of his followers.

The Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team driver, who hasn't had a great season, decided to take it easy in a powerful sports car.

His adventure included speeding and eating some donuts in an abandoned parking lot until smoke rose through the transmission tunnel, which didn't exactly sound like a good thing.

In a video published on his Instagram profile, the driver captioned: “I just like to drive on the track, but I make exceptions”, he wrote, referring to the numerous occasions on which he revealed that he does not like to drive at high speed in the day- to-day.

However, the video has accumulated more than 1.5 million likes in just over a day since it was posted, with people commenting on it on all social networks, but not everyone approved of the record.

According to Noriyaro, an influencer based in Japan, the Nissan that Lewis was driving came from Omoshiro Rent-a-Car, and they didn't give him permission to test the car's limits.

The rental company's official Instagram also shared the video of Lewis on its Instagram Stories, writing: "We prohibit this type of driving. This is a horrible act done without our permission.”

According to the Omoshiro website, the Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R comes with a 2.6-liter RB26 engine, mated to a six-speed manual transmission and rated at 276 horsepower (280 ps) and 293 lb-ft. (397 Nm) of torque.

Lewis has not commented on the video's backlash so far, but things aren't looking good for him.
