The world is getting madder and madder and sometimes the only answer to that is more madness. This custom 2012 Jeep Wrangler 6×6 pickup truck known as “The Savage Bull” up for auction is a prime example of the right kind of insanity.
Customized in root mode, according to the auction website, its only original part is the windshield. Power comes from a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine that produces over 485 hp (492 PS / 362 kW) and 475 lb-ft (644 Nm) of torque out of the box. It is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the four rear wheels thanks to a thru-axle.
It also has custom Borla heads, a custom-tuned suspension optimized for a smooth ride, and gas twins to go further down the road. It has 22-inch wheels and Wilwood disc brakes.
On the exterior, the Wrangler 6x6 was painted in Mercedes-Benz grey, which makes sense if you're looking at trucks with three axles. In addition, the full-size tailgates are custom designed, as are the 91 kg (200 lb) aluminum grille, LED headlights, smoked LED taillights and custom bumpers with rigid LED lights throughout. part.
The rear is also customised, unsurprisingly, and is eight and a half meters long. Made of aluminum, it has an electric lid with more LED lighting. Originally commissioned by Atlanta Braves Hall of Fame baseball player Andruw Jones, the tailgate features his signature.
The interior, meanwhile, is finished in black leather with baseball stitching throughout. It also has a custom panel, built-in cooler, USB charging stations, headrest TV screens, and a 14-speaker Focal sound system with Mosconi amplifiers.
Built in 2017, it has driven just 19,312 km since then. If you're interested in adding a few more miles to it, you can get it at the 2022 Scottsdale Auction from Barrett-Jackson, January 22-30.
