Nissan Versa 2023: Sedan gets new design and lots of technology

Scheduled to go on sale this fall, the 2023 Nissan Versa sedan has received a facelift.

The big news is the V-Motion grille in the form of silver lines, significantly wider and higher than the current model.

The front bumper, underside and fog light inserts were also changed.

Other updates from car include 17-inch wheels and new body colors.

The model leaves behind its prominent bezel, integrating the new Nissan logo, this can be seen throughout the vehicle in different elements.

Interior updates are more related to equipment expansion. For example, even the base version of the Nissan Versa S will have a 7-inch screen in the center console, and the S Plus version adds support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The SV configuration is distinguished by a large display in the instrument panel combination and an engine start button.

A planned upgrade of the car offers wireless charging for a smartphone and a central armrest.

The standard equipment list includes a complete list of safety systems including emergency braking, automatic rear brake and lane departure warning, high beam assist and automatic reverse braking.

Finally, the Nissan Versa SR variant, is positioned with sporty touches and therefore the interior uses a special finish for the seats, a leather steering wheel is added, 17-inch wheels are installed and the rear view mirrors have glossy black housings.

In addition, the Nissan Versa SR car has improved equipment such as adaptive cruise control and an 8-inch screen.

But even in the Nissan Versa SR version, the same engine is installed: 1.6-liter 4-cylinder gasoline with a capacity of 122 horsepower and 154 Nm of torque.

In the basic version, the engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the more expensive variant offers an Xtronic transmission.

The price of the 2023 Nissan Versa sedan has not yet been revealed.
