Nissan Move: Signature of the Nissan Leaf in Brazil

Nissan gave up selling the Leaf in the Brazilian market, adopting the strategy of making it available only through the brand's subscription program. Just like Volkswagen with its electric cars, such as the ID.4 SUV and the ID.Buzz, known as the “electric Kombi”, the Leaf can now only be obtained through rental.

Nissan Leaf in the Brazilian Market

The Leaf was one of the first electric cars of the modern era to be sold in Brazil. Arriving here in July 2019, the hatch initially won over consumers before the arrival of Chinese models. In 2023, for example, the Leaf was the best-selling electric car in the world, selling 370 units in Brazil. However, with a price of R$ 298,490, it ended up becoming more expensive compared to Chinese models, such as the BYD Dolphin, which is the best-selling electric car in Brazil.

Nissan Leaf Subscription Plans

The Nissan Leaf is now available for subscription through the Nissan Move program. Plans range from 12 to 48 months, with different mileage limits, from 500 km to 2,000 km. Monthly payments start at R$ 7,459 for 48-month contracts with a 500 km allowance, reaching R$ 17,819 for 12-month plans with 2,000 km.

Subscription Advantages

Despite the prices, several services are included in the contract, such as documentation, payment of IPVA and licensing, full vehicle insurance with 24-hour assistance, preventive inspections and corrective maintenance. At the end of the contract, there is the option to purchase the vehicle.

Features of the Nissan Leaf

The Leaf has an electric motor at the front with 150 hp and 32.6 mkgf of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 150 km/h, with a range of 192 km with a 40 kWh battery charge. Among its equipment, 17″ alloy wheels, Bose audio system, e-Pedal, Nissan Intelligent Safety Shield, among other driving assistants, stand out.
