This 1982 Honda FT500C Ascot was delivered new to Northline Motorcycles of Houston, Texas, and was purchased by its current owner in its delivery box in 2002. The bike is red in color with a black frame and is equipped with a four-wheel engine. 498cc stroke mated to a five-speed transmission.
Features include a dual seat, two-in-one exhaust system, a Keihin carburetor, electronic ignition, alloy wheels, disc brakes, and center and side stands. This boxed Honda FT500C is offered without reservation by the seller on behalf of its current owner in New York with a Honda Certificate of Origin and a receipt.
The bike is finished in red with white, gray and yellow graphics. Details include a black two-seater seat, a square headlight, a black front fender, and center and side stands.
Multi-spoke alloy wheels measure 21″ front and 18″ rear and use older Dunlop Gold Seal K127 tires. Suspension consists of an air-adjustable fork as well as dual dampers mounted on the swingarm. Braking is done by single discs at both ends.
Factory instrumentation includes an 85 mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7k-rpm red line. The meters are said to be stored inside a box within a box. Total mileage is unknown.
The single 498cc four-stroke SOHC was factory rated at 33 horsepower and is equipped with a single Keihin carburetor, electronic ignition and a two-in-one exhaust system.
The engine is mated to a five-speed transmission with a drive chain going to the rear wheel.
