Launched in the 1990s, the Suzuki Jimny 4×4 has become a very popular SUV all over the world, thanks to its compact dimensions and powerful off-road capabilities.
The Jimny is also a car friendly to modifications and off-road enthusiasts love customizing this precious model.
Recently, some images of a modified Suzuki Jimny convertible went viral on the internet and here is what this SUV looks like.
The modified Suzuki Jimny
The Suzuki Jimny was modified by a Chinese tuning company called YiChe Garage, which was inspired by the design of Great Wall Motor's Tank 300 SUV.
The model now features a revised front end with a new grille and full LED headlights with LED DRLs.
The SUV also got chunky wheels with thick tires and a spare wheel at the rear with rectangular LED taillights.
Mechanically, this modified version of the Jimny remains identical to its standard counterparts, with a 100hp 1.5-liter petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The vehicle is also equipped with a 4×4 powertrain with a low-range transfer case.
The Suzuki Jimny is expected to launch in India next year, albeit in a five-door stretched avatar.
Although the Suzuki Jimny 4×4 is not officially for sale in China, it was imported for around US $ 60,000.
YiChe Garage shelled out over US$ 60,000 on its modifications and the total cost of the convertible model is US$ 120,000.
