The Ford GT says goodbye with a limited edition of 20 units

Before saying goodbye to super sports model GT, whose production ends at the end of the year, Ford has decided to dedicate the last 20 examples to the return to France, where in 2016 they won the LM GTE Pro class in the famous Le Mans 24 Hours of Endurance Race, in addition to a historic triple podium. reached in 1966.

The model that is hidden behind the LM Edition name is inspired by the winning GT car of the American Ford team, Chip Ganassi, which wore the number 68 and was driven at Le Mans by the American Joey Hand, the German Dirk Müller and the French Sébastien Bourdais. .

Customers will be able to choose red or blue accents in combination with the base body color, and the chosen color will carry over to the driver's seat and many other details in the dark cabin.

The model is powered by a 3.5-liter Ecoboost biturbo V6 engine with 660 horsepower and 746 Nm of maximum torque, which is distributed to the rear axle via a 7-speed automatic transmission with two claws.

All in all, it's enough for the carbon monster to reach 347 km/h.

The interior of the new car

Inside, the car features carbon fiber seats with striking upholstery: red or blue for the driver and ebony for the passenger.

Matte carbon fiber, as well as ebony and Alcantara leather, complete a cabin as sophisticated as it is sporty.

The imposing figure of the supercar is enhanced by carbon fiber wheels with a gloss finish with titanium mounting screws and Brembo brake calipers, also painted black.

The dual exhaust also has a specific design, made of titanium by 3D printing.

Above is the GT LM logo, also made of titanium and 3D printed.
