Volkswagen ID.Buzz: Electric Kombi has a high number of reservations before entering the market

The expectation about the Volkswagen ID.Buzz grows as the time of its arrival on the market approaches.

There are many potential buyers who are considering purchasing one of the most anticipated electric vans and Volkswagen has released some interesting facts about this model.

Among these data, the number of reservations requested so far stands out.

The model's high number of reservations is impressive

Company sources estimate at 12,500 units, a very interesting number that will allow the brand to make a difference in this increasingly competitive market.

These bookings are split between the two versions currently available, the Cargo variant and the passenger variant, although the value of each has not been encrypted.

half year of waiting

The sources indicated that these reservations are binding purchases, that is, they are confirmed and not just a reservation that can be canceled at any time.

Therefore, the Hannover plant, where this electric model is being produced, is working hard to meet the delivery commitment.

It is worth remembering that the first 6,000 units produced will be destined for presentations around the world and sent to resellers, so they will not go to buyers.

Production is currently estimated at 100 units per day, which are being prepared to meet this marketing purpose. The factory plans to manufacture a total of 15,000 units this year, a number that is expected to reach 100,000 units during the year 2023.

The first deliveries will be made in November this year. It is not known if it will be one or the other version or if the two will begin to be delivered together.

Of course, if there are new buyers interested in the model, and the number is expected to increase in the coming months, they will have to wait a minimum of six months to receive their vehicle.

This means that any new bookings cannot count on delivery until March 2023 at the earliest.

The success of the Volkswagen ID.Buzz so far makes the company very optimistic about receiving more orders, so soon, it will be able to offer new data and we will see then if the success of the electric model goes beyond this moment.
